Time change
« on: April 01, 2005, 05:28:44 am »
Wow,

It is 10:20 PM here and it is 5:20 there! It is just now almost bedtime for me yet it is almost wake up time for you gents, :o

We change clocks this Saturday.  It always takes me about a week to  adjust. :P

I like to sleep until 7:30 or 8:00. So it takes a few days and then I am OK.

I love to go out on the deck overlooking the lake at 7 or 8 and listen to the birds and feel the sun as I drink a cup of java. 8)

Yesterday it was 86 degrees here. Unusual tho. :o

Hope you all have had a great week! It is time for an avatar change again.

Hugs,

Texas Girl :-*

Hi Texas

So your still lazing in bed when we're all up cleaning windows?  ;D  I'll think on that tomorrow on the first clean of the day.

86 degrees....... why would anyone be happy in such lovely weather. I prefer the damp, wet, cold and miserably dreary weather.

Today around where I live I didn't even see the sun because it was very misty all along the coast and damp and a bit chilly. All day long I could hear the rotten fog horn sounding from Brighton Marina and then when we were along the coast a bit, that was replaced by another fog horn at Newhaven Harbour.

All it needed was for some monster to walk out the mist and the scene would have been complete.

We've all just changed the clocks here and being the person I am, I went round on Sat evening putting the clocks forwards (or was it backwards?) not realising my missus had already done that. I then forgot my own watch and not only got into trouble on Sunday but got completely muddled as to the time. Worse than that, after getting moaned at I went round and put all the clocks etc back one hour not knowing my missus had already done that too. Then I put my watch forwards one hour (or was it backwards?) not knowing my missus had already done that also.  :-[

To make things more complex, my mate who I work with put his clocks the wrong way and I ended up, on Monday, calling on him and he was still in bed and to add to it all, we'd never set the clock right in the work van from last Autumn and had got into the habit of subtracting one hour and then we forgot we now didn't have to.

This clock thing is a nightmare.

Also, what is java? I though java was something to do with the internet?

Take care

Ross

Lol,
Great post Ross, put a smile on my face for sure ;D

Java=coffee.

Or a confusing internet site when you want a specific plug in, not a user friendly site :-\
