when i did mine i started the brush at section 4 yes i lost a bit of length but it means the pole is rigid and it looks as proffesional as anything out there. i can do all three floors and most 4 floors with it and if i need anymore i just have to buy the extension pieces.

i used a shimano forcemaster but if you are looking for a pole look towards a carp pole.

Been looking at them all mate M16, F16, browning, shimano, Ron Thomson.
Just wondered what combination you used to get to 40ft.

F16 and ron Thompson gangster will get to 45' I'm sure. Browning extensions will take it to 60' and beyond.
Its cheaper than an SL2, but not by that much.

i got 2 gangsta's and 2 zensorflex's to 42 ft

thats 140 quid worth of poles

I bought a F16 from ebay second hand (as reco by jeff Brimble) then got 2 extra sections from tackle shop now 49ft in length. F16 £115 from ebay.. £30 x 2 for extra bottom ends.
Total £175 brill.

I got my Gangster today,.. the base fits the bottom 2 sections of my old pole, so it  goes 9' higher straight away!! :)

Just got 2 extra sections today from a local tackle shop so I could reach 2 skylights. Worked a treat. Was a bit bendy, but what the hell. Cost me £40 for the 2. In total £140 for a 38ft. Not bad eh! :D What do you all do to keep the hose out the way or do you just let it dangle?

hi just looked and compared a few fishing pole.the gangster and muscle zone both made by ron thompson,11m.they about same just that the muscle zone has reinforced joints and weights slightly more and is 10 pounds more i think.but should be better than the gangster.what's the lenght u can remain out of 11m pole?will it be enough for 3 storey houses?.also there a few more to take in consideration ,other poles made by Leeda,Shakespeare all good value for the money.thanks

Yes the Muscle is the improved replacement for the  RT Gangster that was the Reload- they just love bringing out newer models. It will reach 29ft I think. Easily does 3 floors. 3.5 years ago I held most of the competitors Shakespeare etc but not the Shimano and decided that that RT  range was best value for money at that time and I dont think anything has changed.
If you ever want to go higher it might be cheaper in the long run to just buy the Map M16 also from Cheshire fishing. Its a lot stiffer.
