Yep I know that felling, but I was very lucky it slipped down a wall for about 6" and then, thank you god, dug in to my mat.
Its a bazaar feeling, when it happens. All went in slow motion.

Only do WFP now, will never do windows from ladders again as risk and consequences Versus  financial gain make this an easy decision for me.
My mate who is still trad had a ladder slip the other week and it shook him up.

Some people say ladders are safe its the user who isn't. This in my opinion is total Botox, as many an experienced cleaner has come off.

Look at the design its totally basic with very little by way of safety measures.

sorry to hear about your accident mate...................hope you get well soon

i fell about 15 yrs ago and smashed my left ankle...............i was out of work for 2yrs

about 6 yrs ago i fell climbing over a fence with a ladder and snapped my left arm at the elbow

when i was 18 i was out on a bender after playing rugby and we were pratting about using a crash helmet as a ball , i was tackled and put my hand out to stop myself hitting a wall but missed the wall and went through the window severing main artery in my right wrist

so we all do it

you were lucky ................it could have been a lot worse so take care mate
