I've been a member for 5 years, used the legal advice a couple of times and have the Coop business account. These 2 things have more or less paid for the membership.

For a single trader its £120.00 a year + £30.00 (registration for the initial signing on). The £120.00 a year fee never changes.

My little email I sent them just now..

Quote
Hello,

Ive made 3 phonecalls over the month of January, enquiring about my "membership", everyone i spoke to advised i would recieve a letter in the post regarding notification of debiting my account.

Payment was taken from my account on the 28/01/2008. As yet I still haven't received ANY notification from you this was to be taken out! Bit of luck i had enough to cover this debit!

Combine that with nothing from yourselves regarding actually joining, or membership or even my card to gain access to the online "vault" of knowledge - and were nearly half way through February.

I fell rather put out, and annoyed from a organisation that claims to be the "most effective organisation promoting and protecting the interests of the self employed and small business owners within the UK." I'm sorry - I've just havn't had any experience of this.. yet!

Please ensure, the rest of my membership runs smoothly and that i recieve all future correspondence - I was hoping this would be an orginisation worth joining.

Please advise how i can gain entry to the member only section on the website without my member card and its details thereon.

Apparently this is my membership number xxxxxxx - Ive no idea if it is, as i have nothing from you to confirm this.

Hope all you guys get better service from them than i did/have
