oh, not another one for that guide.. please search this forum for a guide already on here..

Just to note, a simple DIY set up that will be of any good long term, will actually cost you approx £700, you will be looking at £250 just for a 3000watt vacuum

costs for gutter system

reliable transit and water tank......which you have. upto £15,000

vac and 30 foot pole...upto £1200

generator upto £800

pressure washer upto £1000

pole for spike  upto £500 *can also be used for powerwashing down pipes

pole for camera    £250

camera system  upto £850

Its quite feasible to spend upto £20k on a system with van and tank, most will come in cheaper than this,yr nxt problem will be getting the customers. :-\..Also make sure your water tank is securely fixed to the floor/chassis

If your doing patio cleaning then you'll need a decent pressure washer. You could save money by buying an extendable lance and jetting the gutters rather than investing in a vac as well.

Nope, i use a vacuum. I know guys on here use a pressure washer to do it. I would think there must be a knack to it otherwise you'll splatter everything in muck. I think the secret is to use a low pressure nozzle to gently shift the muck to the down pipe and wash it down. Just thinking an extending lance might be less than two hundred whereas a vacuum with poles could be around a £1000 (a lot of money to find on top of the pressure washing kit).
