£40 -£45 is would that be internal & external?

Here's what I was thinking and appreciate any feedback.

£30 4 weekly
£45 one off external clean
£40 8 weekly internal

I reckon around 30mins on a regular clean bit longer for 1st clean.

This is for a Management Company. need to get it to them by morning.

no 40 is about right, plus 40 for the insides

if they want ins and outs done as a first clean do them a deal and say it should have been

80 for a first clean doubled up for inside first clean..............160

but you will do the lot for £ 80 thats 50% discount

and it will be £ 40 every 4 weeks thereafter

£50 but tell them that you'll do it every 8 weeks, rather than the usual 4 that the rest of the local window cleaners do.

I find that if you have a too frequent cleaning interval - especially on more expensive accounts - they'll get sick of seeing you; or rather coughing up £40 every four weeks.

£15!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what the hell do you charge for a 3 bed semi £2.50???

We would be £40.00 x 6 weekly

We charge inside price at 1.5x the outside = £60.00 so in and out would be £100.00.

Gutters would be £90.00
The best way to predict the future is to create it.

30 to 35 for me should take no longer than 30mins total less after the first couple of cleans ,
work out what you want an hour and add a little on top because nothing ever goes to plan.

Ok Guy's the quote has been Faxed off so here's what I went with.

4 Weekly £30
8 Weekly £40
8 Weekly Internal £40

Thanks for all the input. I appreciate there will always be a difference in pricing due to area's and people's own choice on what their own preferred hourly rate should be.

Some interesting replies as always. Not sure if I'm still a little on the slow side with WFP but 10 mins on this external seems a little quick. I usually take 10 -15 mins on a 3- 4 bed semi. So estimated at my usual speed (Old Mans Speed) :) around 30 mins on a regular clean.

The bonus to this work is there are 4 other properties on this plot now occupied, so maybe some rich pickings if all goes well. Dropped a leaflet through the doors but 95% of my work comes from recommendations or through being noticed out and about, so fingers crossed.

Thanks again

Wayne

I think you have gone a bit low on your price.
How many window cleaners in your area could clean the windows in the roof, for those you should be charging more

I understand your point but there are now plenty of WFP WC around in this area.

I've tried to keep a balance between being competitive, keeping on track with what I need to earn. I'm comfortable with the price I've given. I took on board everyone's advice before making my final decision.

The thing is if I get the work I'll be thinking I should have charged more, if I dont, then I'll think I was too expensive. It really is a learning curve and after 18 mths I'm still learning.

Pretty much at the stage where I could start to inflate my price a bit and not feel disapointed if I don't get it.

The thing with forums is you have window cleaners from all areas . Each area can charge a different price for the same size house.
If you are happy with what you have priced it at thats all that matters. You could try and price work at southern prices and not get any . Its knowing what you need to earn per hour and charge accordingly.
