I`ve heard different things said on this subject and have come to the understanding that by Ionics copyright protection you cannot have there logos printed and put on the side of your vehicle etc,this seems a bit conflicting to me what about if you have say 3 vans a only 1 van contains a Reach & Wash system,i know of someone that has only 1 system by them in 1 of there vans yet still has Thermopure Reach&Wash system on the other 2 vans with DIY setups held down by ratchet straps.If this is ok by them for a customer to do this it makes a complete joke not only of there copyright but also there crash testing.

I think if you have bought a system from them you can use their logo over and over again but only if you purchased the sytsem,There are pleny of logos out there on vans that I've seen and are much better than Ionics,get a mate to take a photo of you from the window you are working on using your pole,bring it to the printer for editional purposes,with the brush and water effect on a window will show exactly what you do,at least it shows more than Ionics show, Ionics one is like the BT logo,it does'nt state what the service is
If I was a normal customer and seen an Ionics Reach And Wash logo on the side of a van I would'nt be any wiser in thinking what they wash,they could be Dry Cleaners for all I would think.
The logo does'nt describe what exactly you do,unless of course you had WINDOW CLEANING under it,but face it the logo is just a trade mark and does'nt sell the service.

It still goes against what they say though they don`t want any van on the road with there logo on that hasn`t had a system fitted by them,you could buy 1 system and kit your whole business out with there name.I could go and buy a trailer system and then use there logo on everything else i had ie other vans,they advertise there systems on Ebay but say you must have it fitted at 1 of there centers in order for you to purchase it.

why dont you email Ionics direct and ask them? least that way you know their stance on the issue and can inform us all

I very much doubt that they will allow it, but how exactly are they gonna police it? They will need to take the number plate or even the chassis number of every van that has one of their systems and check..

i doubt they are gonna do that.

I thought i would post about this as i`ve seen some on here have recieved either emails or phone calls concerning this asking the WC`s to remove signage and logos from vehicles etc,it seems to me that as long as they know you`ve purchased at least 1 system they couldn`t give a damn about it.It`s not the H&S there worried about more like money.
