Maybe they are not wealthy anymore?

Could be the wrong date or something maybe. I won't know for sure 'till the postman brings it back.

I make a point of checking every cheque now as I've had a few & they've not been signed, or they've wrote - pay- "window cleaner" ::)

It will take nearly a fortnight to get it back, I usually just re=present them when I get them back, they usually go through then.
If they bounce again the yhave been punished with more charges, get the cash off them but do not hand the cheque backuntil you have the money.
