Chasing Quotes
« on: February 04, 2009, 01:42:52 pm »
How long do you leave it before chasing up commercial quotes, and what do you say?

Been stuck indoors so going through paperwork, one job i quoted for at start of january I spoke to decision maker gave them price there were really happy with emailed and posted written quote to them as they requested and heard nothing back. Any advice on how to chase up without coming accross as desperate

Thanks

I send all my quotes and advertising letters out on a Monday and then ring them all the following Monday.

I just tell them who I am and ask whether they've seen the letter I sent to them. When they say that they have I just ask them what they think and whether or not they're interested.

It works for me; a week is ample time, but not so long that they've already forgotten!!
Come and talk dirty to us!!!
