Hi guys,

Me and a friend have started up window cleaning, he has done it for the past 5 or 6 years I got laid off in Aug. We where just wondering if any of you know any good areas in Bolton or surrounding areas we could hit just to get the ball rolling.

Thanks for any advice

Liam

Hiya mate, welcome to the forum. I don't live in Bolton but suggest you pick on a estate somewhere then start knocking doors and selling your business. If you get continuous negative response then move onto somewhere else.
Also get some business cards done too. They're free from vista print.
Good luck.

Where are you from.

Both from bolton. we would be interested in buying a round or even renting one, as regarding my mate his work was all commercial based in rochdale and heywood etc and he has not really done domestic for 4 years or so.

I think it's quite funny when someone asks a question like this  ::).

Call me greedy but if I know where there's plenty of new work to be had I'll have it for myself thank you very much  ;)

Just do what the rest of us have had to do; pick an area and knock. It's pot luck really; get it right and you'll pick up plenty of new work, other times you'll go home with nowt.

Good luck  :)
Come and talk dirty to us!!!

Been speaking to people who are familiar with this area, some have said some people will get pretty peed off if we tred on their toes.

whats wrong with you...................are you wcs or are you not

no one is going to give you a round or tell you where to find one

how can you say you are a new wc business if you have no windows to clean

get off your butts tomorrow morning and find an estate near you and start knocking....................take your kit with you and offer to do there and then, that way you are earning from day one

day after ................same again

day after that  ...................same again

and so on

when that estate is covered move onto the next estate

if you cant do that then dont waste your time

if you want your own round ...........build one

You have to be cruel to be kind sometimes otherwise you may as well go beat your head.
