Ok so its been arctic for a couple of days but a Hot water systems costs massively more than a standard system.

On an ordinary day is the end clean result worth the increased equipment and running costs? and are there other manufacturers than Ionics with Thermo Pure?

Bit of a daft question in a way 'cos anyone who's parted with three grand for a system isn't going to tell you "no it's not worth it"
Similarly the guy with the top of the range Ironics type system would never admit he's wasted half his money.

I`ve just parted with the money and it`s well worth it,the only reason i`m not working is because of the roads i don`t want to right off the van.

If you can afford it then why not.You get what you pay for.If we could afford a new van every couple of years then we'd all have one.To justify having one is more of an issue over affording one i think?! Lucky you if have got one.

A few weeks ago when it was freezing i would have lost the best part of a weeks work if i didn`t have 1,i`m not working this week cos it`s not safe to travel.

Not where i go it`s not,it`s ok if your working round the town but i would be nowhere near the town today thw work due is rural to say the least.

In terms of increased real world profit, not just gaining back a few lost days due to frost,  that's still down to you & your own efforts with it's promotion/marketing.

A perfect result is acheived with cold wfp, so you can't improve on perfect.

IMO, for most I would imagine it's a balance between the advantages hot can give you in cold weather & your own personal working conditions being more comfortable in the cold.

So, based on increased profit only= who knows?
                               or
Based on the last paragraph= why not, if you can afford it & you want one, treat yourself. You don't have to justify it to anyone but yourself & your circumstances.

dus a better job , its qicker , it remves bird muck better  , it better on snals trals , its better on spiders diner thats dribuld down the window , it remves egg , it all so removes fary liqid on new cleans , its better on furst cleans the list gos on & on & on & so ther you have it  im on L5 it costs me a £1 aday in gas

Macmac the results using hot water are very real and when you use it you will see,if cold water were just as good why would i have got hot water not to just stick my fingers up at the next WC.All of the above ie snail trails first cleans etc are only a couple of advantages,oh no fozen hoses and easy reeling in are only another 2.I wouldn`t try to compare cold water to hot water because i`d be wasting my time you can`t compare them,the first jump off the ladder is WFP and how good it feels not to have to climb them anymore allday long,having hot WFP puts the cherry on the already iced cake.

So are you saying then that up 'till last month you were leaving all your customers with dirty windows? Even the ones you used "magic" ISO on? you were not getting perfect results with cold then?

If we could all afford an Ionics hot water system we'd all have one.Just like if we could afford it we'd all have a 5 bedroom house,Range Rover Sport and the kids in private school. I know i would.Until then,what i have will,and does do ok!

BTW,doesn't hot have its advantages in Summer too? On commercial jobs water dries very fast on the glass,whereas with hot water it doesn't.And no,i don't have a hot water system!

i would have thought hot water dried quicker... with the steam evaporating, on contact with air, making it dry quicker....

but i dont know really, i was just thinking
