I have tried vinegar in the past but it still spotted, but I will certainly try it again, do you know if its brown white or cider vinegar. I drink cider vinegar its good for arthritis.

Just noticed the video on YouTube and tbh don't think I would try it myself. Not suggesting people try it I was just pointing it out.

Cider vinegar IS good for arthritis.....i tried some and i got it!!...BOOM! BOOM!.(i know,i know.....i just couldnt resist it,sorry)

The Vinegar in the water is used just to change the glass .. After that use pure water to clean the window as normal hope that helps

So once they've been turned into hydrophillic then they'll stay that way then? Cool 
That would be a good idea for first cleans then.

HI simon sorry about the Video, It was supposed to help, Its not that good So will have to make an update ( when I get time ) Ok you can use about half a bottle of vinegar in the water then go straight to pure water. You will see the effect straight away 

Or for those who do not have a backpack just use a bucket ( with vinegar ) and a mop to wet up  the window..

As for how long the glass stays that way, I'm not too sure but the windows that I have changed over are still more water loving then before...

as a fan jet user, I would like to find an additive which would make all windows AQUAPHOBIC!

I find that the more aquaphobic a window is, the cleaner it stays and the easier it is to clean.

also, no time wasted rinsing bits of leaves/dirt etc that seem to stick more to aquaphillic windows

i just wash all glass with pure water and rinse them.. 

why complicate matters.
