Most Helpfull Person this month
« on: March 13, 2005, 07:38:49 pm »
The Forum has been a great place to gather knowledge, and to help each one of us be that little bit more professional. :)

But who has been the most helpful????

To encourage this put the persons name here, and the reasons why. And whoever’s name appears the most before the end of the month. I will send them a nice bottle of wine. ;D

No you cant vote for yourself :(

I vote for Graham Ghoul too.  He must be Cleanitup's 'most improved recruit'!

(And the only other member to have more posts deleted in one day than Duke or myself - he makes 'us' look good!).

Ok I will start the ball rolling. ;D

I Have two people in mind Ian Giles & Texas girl.

Texas girl because of her positive attitude at all times, even when things are difficult. Also her comments have always been encouraging and helpful.

Ian because I have seen a lot of his  posts have been very helpful to a lot of new and upcoming window cleaners.

Vote Texas girl.  Ian keep up the good work may be next month.

Okay then, serious now.

Texas is great in that her posts come from quite a different angle than what's generally posted here; they're interesting rather than informative to a British window cleaner.

However my vote is for Ian Giles as I know he's extremely experienced and he does take the time to write honest and thorough posts to help new guys (such as myself) out.

So it's Ian_Giles for my vote.

If I may, I would like to put 4 names forward.

Ian Giles for the same reason as windows chepstow has said
Also MalcG and James44 for thier views on a question i asked on another thread.

And I would also like to mention windows_ chepstow for words of encouragement which I didn't thank him for

I've had loads of help - thanks all!
Narrowing it down to six  in no particular order so in 1st letter alphabetical:-

Duke
Ian Giles
Matt
Roy Harding
Rosskesava
Texas Girl

But no.1 is.......... Ian Giles!
It's a game of three halves!

Shucks :-[ Really glad to be able to help people :)

Mmm, who would I vote for....Texas_girl would get my vote for the most uplifting and encouraging poster.
Graham Gould for most improved (he has learned I'm pleased to see)
Tosh, Windows_Chepstow, Has done some really good posts, and has a great sense of irreverency.
But my vote will go to one of our lords and masters on here, Philip Hanson.
His posts are always well thought out and to the point.

.........My tongue isn't to brown is it ;D

I think Ian Giles and Texas Girl.

Having said that, there have been so many good postings that it maybe is a little unfair. I could write a whole pile of names.

As a "Newbie", I have to say that I've read the forum quite avidly, - thanks to ALL for all your help, [knowingly and unknowingly!].

I've found both Ian Giles' and Texas Girls' info very helpful and plentiful, but, sorry Ian, "Texas Girl" is a whole lot prettier!!

I think it has to be Texas Girl, Window Chepstow or Ian Giles.

In some ways I think it a bit unfair as I've read a lot of interesting posts from others.
