That's what Xmas is all about, being a big kid again.

 ;D

Mike got it from here. I think if you shop around you might get it cheaper.

Wow!  I'm impressed :)

Coupled with a laptop to take to customers' houses, that would be the dog's wotsits.

These are fantastic little tools which we use for leather ID and once you have learnt what to look for they are invaluable to the leather technician and cleaner.  40x pocket microscopes will give much the same information if you do not want to carry a computer with you and either way using a pocket microscope or a USB one certainly makes you look very professional and instills confidence in your customer.  They can also give you a lot of information about what can and cannot be cleaned (again once you understand what to look for).

Just wondering if some smart phones would work with the right adapter.

Meant to say, to those of you who are into laptop presentations, my wife bought be a little notebook and the first thing that occurred to me was how much easier for lugging around. Very compact.

Jim

The pictures taken are what you see on the laptop screen. You can hold it with one hand with ease and manoeuvre it about while looking at the screen and its far more easier to use than  a hand held M- scope You can take pictures of any damaged areas, and if unsure of any problem E-mail the picture to LTT or Furniture Clinic for advice. You can even video capture if want. For £50 quid, its worth it.
