I've got a problem with George.

I had a few accounts due on the 29th which i didn't get to.
The rest of the jobs that day are now due again on 27th Jan.

Those few others I finished off today (31st).
Now they still say they are due 27th Jan.
They'll be early then though.

I thought that if a job was 4 weekly, it would show up 4 weeks after you last did it. 
So they should now come up as 29th Jan.

If that's how it is, then that's not very helpful when I have time off or get rained off, or don't finish an area the right day.

Have you got them set for a particular day of the week ie. tuesdays only? Or have you accidentally ticked them as done on the 29th? You can click on the history to look or on the job details to see if you have set them for tuesdays only.

No, they're any day, and I put them as done today.

if you put them in today and didnt set a set day or set week ie 3rd week of the month, then they should come up 4 weeks to the day of clicking the done today button.

just check in your period summary that you entered them the right day, also go into the details of one of the offending jobs and double check you havent ticked something in the schedule

When you click a job as done make sure you also click the today button that appears otherwise it will calculate 4 weeks from its original due date. its quite easy when you get used to it.
  
As for the ones that are wrong now you need to click on history and change the details on work done and any payments, then manually change the due date if need be.

Opps didn't read the whole thread, if you did press done today is you computer calender set correctly ?

I always change the date as well on the programme on the day you did it or you will get a mix up. Happened to me when I first got George.

Ok, thanks guys, I'll double check.

Dave, 4 weekly mate, but looking to go 6-weekly when I've got enough work.
Some new areas are 6-weekly from the start, hence me needing a program to keep track of things!

Not everybody enters their work every day so George assumes you did it on the Due Date. Enter the date you actually did the Job or click the Today button if you did it late (or early).

George calculates the Next Due Date from the date you say you did it, not from today...

Well that's the thing.
All were done yesterday (30th) except three
For those done today I entered 31st Dec.
It's telling me next date due for ALL of them is 27th Jan which is the tuesday.

I assume they will sort themselves out next month?
Can't see them being done by 27th either!
