When I started wfp I wanted a Citroen Dispatch 2.0hdi 12-18months old. I got such a good deal on a new one, the van specialist I asked to find me a second hand one couldn't beat it. I used a vehicle broker on the internet to source a new van and also got a very competive quote from a local Peugeot dealer on an Expert which I nearly went with.

How much did you pay then and how much did the broker save you.

for gods sake dont do it, unless you can afford a brand new renualt vivaro/traffic etc etc and will be able to change it before its 3 years old then i wouldnt even think about getting one, once they have a few miles on the clock they tend to self destruct.
do your wallet a favour and get a tranny/vw or some other van anything but an ageing renualt/vauxhall

Around £11,500 in Feb 2006. This was about 2k less than a local dealer offered me. Though a local peugeot dealer offered me a new expert about the same price - it only had one sliding door and 2 seats in front as opposed to 3 on dispatch. Been very good van to date.
Bound to be some very gooddeals about now.

I got the van from Barkers Motor Group who seem to do some very competitive deals and although they were the other end of the country offered free delivery.
The other competitive qoute I got for the Expert was from the Peugeot dealer in Harlow, very similar price to Dispatch.
Both prices were on the road incl. VAT and for the 2.0hdi. I know the dispatch/expert/scudo has since been updated but if dealers aren't offering good deals at the moment they simply will not be selling vehicles.
