Best excuses for not having windows cleaned
« on: December 21, 2008, 02:56:29 pm »
Some people really make me laugh with some of the excuses they give for not wanting windows cleaned. Here are some of the ones that I've experienced recently.
"Oh can you miss me this time I've just had drive block paved and don't want any water getting on it"

"Erm can we leave the windows this time because our relatives are here from Australia"

"Can you come back next week because my husband is in bed with the flu"

They must think we wcs are damn stupid or something.

"Can we leave them this time because the wife and myself are clay-pigeon shooting"

We never called back (£50 a time barn conversion)

Can we leave it this time round as a spider has made her web in the corner of the living room window...I watched her make it and she worked so hard!

Never returned ;D

Why don't people just say:  A bit short this month, can I skip it this time round?

I've been strapped for cash more times than I would care to remember so readily understand that clean windows aren't important compared to putting grub on the table or paying the mortgage/ rent.

I suppose it's a pride thing ::) with some people!

Well at least the clay pigeons wouldn't be able to poo on the windows   ;)

How about "I'm sorry mate but they really don't need doing" I had to agree with him.

Actually that is true. Rain water being pure enough to do the job.

Same to you Matt.
We only a few there now, all located before you reach the swimming pool roundabout. After that point the brain cells diminish at an alarming rate the closer you get to the Atomic Weapons Establishment ;D ;D ;D
