This one has hardly any hours or miles on it, Lee's has but is an water cooled engine so should last loads longer.

£13000 IMO is well off but they will take offers. £8000 is more like it.

he's been offered 9k for it and declined.
it won't sell at 13 though.
i'd offer 10 if i wasn't in my first year, got to learn to walk first.

being cautious!
surely not!

Remember the prices of 2nd hand vans is dropping sharply at the moment so i would say in todays climate the package is abt £9,000 - £10,000.  same deal 12 - 18 months ago would get £2,000 - £3,000 more.

i sold my house to start this business. (so yes, you could say i'm minted) seemed the right thing to do as house prices are falling. hopefully in 2 or 3 years time, house prices will have bottomed out and the business will be earning enough to get a nice place of our own again. until then, as long as house prices drop by more than £7000 a year, then i'm making money (theoretically)

he who dares.

I think Derek just needs a sheepskin jacket and he'd make an excellent second hand van trader. ;D

This time of the year the kits worth that much but come January  when we have more time on our hands its worth less. What you all have to remember is  if this was bought from Hydramaster you’d be looking at fitting charges plus a 2 day turn around going down to Cornwall to have the machine fitted in your van?
So to have a turn key operation with extra kit for £13,000 is not be sniffed at considering the dollar has gone through the roof. A basic 318 with out a van is over £10,000.

The van is worth about 1.5k but there's no doubting the money earning potential of this setup if you've got the business in next year.
