« on: December 17, 2008, 06:48:25 pm »
Thinking of doing this aas a add on to the cc business.
What equipment would I need and how much training?
Or is it something you can train yourself to do?

i did a course with highly recommended course from a tilers forum about two years ago. and went on to do a few tiling jobs and still do a bit now, but i find it to time consuming to do any regular work, also the custys expect you to do the plumbing. joinery and every trade that gets involved and none of that was covered on the course, but to be fair i can definetly lay tiles confidently. as far as cost you will need a minimum of £600 worth of tools and the training can cost from 300 to thousands

Im a tiler by trade, the best thing is to do a course as there is loads to know about tiling. I mainly do natural stone these days as is better money than ceramic tiling. Good luck and if you want anymore info let me know.

Presume you been referring to tile laying.

What about tile and grout cleaning?
Can high pressure cleaning/extraction be used on all types of tile?
