berlingo van orange light

hi guys know quite a few of you have belingos or peugeots does anyone know what orange light on dash which looks like a square with a key in it and makes an audible noise is it some king of immobiliser how do you turn it off this is on a 2000/w reg van

What does it say in the handbook? I have a partner but I don't recognise the symbol.

just looked up my handbook the square with the key in it is you electronic key warning lamp lights up when switching on ignition if the key is not recognised
