Most that I have ever earned in one day is; I tin of Rover biscuets, and 3 muffin cakes. That was a few weeks ago. So hopefully now that its almost xmas I may be lucky and get a box of Milk Tray too.

You just beat me mate, I did £2 17, 6d. They were quite clean so just ragged them with a damp scrim. they were council houses at half a crown  each, and I did 23 of them.
That was in 1958 and my wages were only £3 a week. I really impressed the boss though.
What I have written above is gospel true.
