Just out of interest, what would you charge, trad, for one of the large windows with 12 panes.

From the photo's it doesn't look like an £800+ job, I would be pricing it at around half of that plus the cost of the cherrry picker, normally around £100/day

if its hand washing then id charge the earth upwards of £500, how much would you charge your wife for you to handwash dishes all day?

500 would be my minimum payment unless another deal was to be struck by the missus ;)

Why?

It's not been cleaned for years, the frames are not good quality, and a perfect finish is required.
On the large windows is is aprox 11m to the top of the windows.

So each window on the large section of the mill is about 3m tall, therefore each "PANE" is about 3' x 2' of which there are 12 in each window.

If you can do it with a pole Id say theres less than a handful of hours work there; you have posted the same windows in more than one photo (thus making it look more than it is) its not a HUGE job, allow a day; plus any additional kit required.

Off a ladder I wouldnt bother.

Tell you what Matt, i'll pay you £300 if you can do it in a day to an acceptable finish.
