Hardwater dposits on external brickwork
«

Hi,
My house has an unsightly greyish stain underneath an old overflow where water must have regularly poured out. Water no longer comes out but I can't get rid of the mark.
I have tried:
* A pressure washer
* A wire brush
* Brick cleaner
* Viakal (limescale remover)
Can anyone give me some advice on how I can get rid of it.

What about sand blasting.Alot of these latest jet washers allow this,all you need to do is go out and buy the part and some sand.just a thought until someone comes along with a better idea.

My washer has the capability, if I buy the kit like you say. I think it costs about £40 or so. I was hoping I would not have to resort to that. Even so - that might not even do it so it would have been a wasted purchase. :-/
