Hi There,

Wonder if anyone could give me a small point in the right direction with regards to pricing and actual time scale;

I have been asked to quote on the following as we are a Rope access and cleaning company.  The problem is the client, a chemical company has requested that the building be washed by a "soft Bristle brush" and "Not"  pressure washer!!!

My first concern is that the area in Sq Meters is rather huge, and to do it manually with brushes and mops might take a good bit of time and resources.  I have calculated costs and timings as follows:

4 Men - Ten days £19,500:  Does this seem in the ball park for the following work?  I appreciate any feedback at all - good and bad!

-Clean out gutters, girth 900mm - 120 m in length total.

-Clean down roof sheeting with industrial detergent 10% dilution and a soft bristle brush (no power washing)  Hose down on completion - 1800 m2

-Clean roof glazing - windows on spine of roof for full length. - 240 m2

-Clean micro ribbed panels to external walls, industrial detergent diluted at 10% with soft bristled brush. - 1350 m2

Total to clean by soft bristle brush!!!!  --  3190 m2

I know it is a large job, my three issues are:

How many men?
How many days?
How much to price?

You should also post this on the window cleaning section.
All of these jobs are done by several window cleaners on that side of the forum.

We do this sort of work, but, why do you not mention wfp. Which is what you are realy saying in the spec soft bristled brush.

Esy to do , you just need to know chemical to use to get required standard.
