Thanks people. I paid £5,100 when it was 2 years 9 months old with 64k miles.

I suppose anything over about 3k would be a bonus - I would have to pay vat on the sale price too :(

Tough medicine to take.

I went to my local auction friday night, couldnt believe how cheap things were going for, a 52 plate vivaro, 38k miles, white, mint, fsh, made £1450, a 55 plate freelander td4 mint less than average miles, made £2750
unbelievable, good buyers market at the mo!

Yes, whilst I may not get much for the existing van at least I'll get a good price on its replacement. Some comfort.

Hi, hope you're keeping busy.

Are you running a prowler from the Connect?

cheers

Paul,

We're ticking along, just about keeping the wolves from the door  ;)

No we run the Prowler from a Fait Ducato, I think it would be a tight squeeze to get a prowler and all the associated gear into a connect.

The Ford Connect is ultimately going to be kitted out for Leather cleaning and restoration.  However in the short term it will be a vehicle for me to use as all our vehicles are fully crewed and I'm having to use the car to go out and do estimates

It's not the type of vehicle I was originally looking for but it was too good an offer to miss.  I think there will be a lot of good quality vehicles coming onto the market over the next couple of months, especially ex lease vehicles which people are defaulting on
