tried ebay but only one and its collect only.
what other search terms other than bonnet mops can i use, where do you guys get yours from?
and whats type / size blah blah am i looking for.

To get a quality one i did pay about £16 each a few years ago and with regular washing and being looked after they are still going strong and i did buy about 40 from texatherm when i got my system:)

Know prochem dealers or your nearest supplier will sell them

which ones do i need my plate is 15" diameter, so i guess 17" would be better, but theres a few diff ones, i think 10 would suffice, what you guys reckon?

Argosheen supply a bonnet which is 100% cotton and very flat.  They are excellent and inexpensive 'tho you will have to import them from the US

I'd agree with the 17" being the size to use

Me & Shaun imported 40-50 of the the 100% cotton Argo-bonnets  ( can't remember exact number) they are best bonnets available by miles, I think they worked out at about £8 each.

But I wouldn't do it again, I now use terry towels they are better than any bonnets, pick up a lot more dirt.

I fold them over the turn in the corners so it is an octagon shape, but this only works if the teeth on your drive board are quite deep. 1 quality, thick terry towel folded gives 4 cleaning sides.

The rule of thumb for bonnets are that soil sorb are cotton and Queen pads are synthetic (I think Turan with a polyprop scrubbing strip)  But I stand to be corrected.

If you follow Mikes suggestion, you'll probably get a pack of 20 terry toels for the price of one queen, or similar which must make them worth trying.

No hard and fast rule on that one Derek. Certainly for post rinse/extract drying cotton will win the day.  For years I used cotton for cleaning acres of carpet 4 times a year on a maintenance plan. Superb results. But cotton pads retain water when being laundered and can put the washing machine out of balance on the spin cycle which, to someone who is mechanically sympathetic, is hell on a walkabout.

I now only use synthetic (Turan) pads for everything. Still a good clean and easier to launder, more in the machine at a time, and quicker to dry. I still have some cotton though for the rare occasion should I need to bonnet for drying purposes.

The pads will last much longer than t towels

I wash mine at the laundrette and dry them there or most times just drop them of and there done for me for a few pounds extra to the lady that runs the cleaners
