That's a good spot have you bought it yet? Obviously no patent problems there then. I wonder if that flexi hose will fit inside a superlight section like the 38mm stuff does? Maybe slide over it if it's bigger.
I would think a friendly welder could make a flange to pop rivet to the vac drum with an angled tube to take a 51mm hose.

I have bought from here with no problems. The goods arrived after about 1 week. You can use the item No. 81210 to connect the Gutter Cleaning Attachment to any 2 Inch / 51 mm pole VERY easily. I got this info from a mate who made his own DIY Vac.

Seems to be one or two uk suppliers of the smaller stuff but not the two and a half inch Loc-line. We used to use it for air pipes in the print trade.

Post some Specs, pics and prices Glyn as I'm sure people would rather deal with a UK firm.

Thanks Glyn....... I'll look through that list later and see if there is anything I need.

Just 1 other question....... Whats the price of JUST a pole....?
(You already know I have a vac.)

I'm thinking of having an Omnivac pole just for the standard houses and keep the other just for the higher ones......

Regards

Its on the list above, £80.00 per 6' section
For "normal" houses you will need probably 4 tubes

Glyn, as you tend to get a little hostile towards diy'ers on here (perhaps understandable) maybe it is thought that you won't supply parts only? So are you saying anyone can purchase any parts from your list even though they haven't purchased your guttervac?

I would have though he would, after all he's in business to make money.  DIY'ers will always be about no matter what, he can tap into that market aswell then its good for him.

Obviously he'd rather sell a full machine..

Mmm, so what's to stop anyone making an exact copy by sourcing 90% of the parts cheaper and just buying a couple of key parts from Omnipole? Where is the patent?

Here a couple of fittings i use along side my omnivac

Great on full gutters, could do with the nose being tapered  a bit more say by an inch or two

But works well

How stiff is that Loc-Line hose, does it change shape whilst vacuuming or will it hold its position? I had a gutter clean this morning and the gulley coming off the roof was full which meant my looped hose and clamps were not the right angle really. Could have done with that flexi-hose.

yeh it keeps moving, every few minutes you have to bend it back to the right shape

Jeff Brimble is a true DIYer he has ideas and then builds and tests them out, this is DIY and I have a great deal of respect for what it acheives.

However we sell to many who claim to be DIY "experts" our staff are then tied up on the phone for hour after hour explaining how to wire, join or why and how an item works.
It is not unusual for some one to buy a componant for a few pounds and then expect to phone maybe six times to ask how to construct an item from it.
I have lost count but its certainly hundreds of phone calls from people that have bought a cheap RO,pump, tank etc. from ebay, RO Man etc. and then want us to tell them how to set them up....
Its a joke and no different from a housholder phoning to ask you how to clean windows, how to climb a ladder, where to place the ladder, how much washing up liquied, hot or cold water, what type of squeegee, what type of rubber, how to remove fly **** etc. etc. I wonder how many of you would answer these questions?
