I wouldn`t carry anymore than 250ltrs in that van, they don`t handle well at the best of times.

believe it or not i found the combo vans to be quite good at handling. I never had much weight in the back though which will make some sort of difference i agree with the 250L though

Not really - On a full 9 - 5 day residential day I get through virtually 400 with a varistream and fanjets. About 300L this time of year.

Some further thoughts:-

If your payload is 595kg then 250L plus you will be about 350kg - add tank, fixing kit, reel, battery (if separate), poles, bits and bobs = 100kg.

So up to  now you have 450kg used up. If it's roomy enough you could just squeeze a 400L in there but perhaps only fill to 350L to be safe. Or the 250 and a couple of 25L barrels to top up with?
It's a game of three halves!

I've fitted quite a few of these with 350 litre upright tanks.

350 should be enough for an average days work with an electronic flow controller fitted.

theres 2 combo's exactly the same the 2000 model not year the model is called 2000 has a payload of 750kg if i remember correctly all the diffrence is the springs.

how do i know this?? my  dad works in vauxhall's on the axle line plus i have a combo and even rang vauxhalls to ask about uprating the springs to the 2000 model and it can be done np's

so you could allways do that if you need more everyday

I have 350 ltr tank in a Pug Partner ( 600kg pay load). It handles OK fully loaded with considerate driving - however my next van will be a higher payload.

I find 350ltrs is enough for most of my days. But I also have a Di canister fitted so if I run out, I can fill up and carry on working.

You could also do this with a 250ltr tank, but you'd be filling up more othen.
