PUMP FROZE TODAY!
« on: November 28, 2008, 08:33:58 pm »
Yes, I was in the shadows in a valley and the pump froze. I got a kettle from the customer and thawed it. Then left my engine on with the heater to warm it up a little!! Anybody else got any freezing stories from today?

You oop North-like? Or Och, Aye the Noo... sort of North?

Put IPA in the tank last night, pre-heated the water before I started work,...

Yes, I fixed one up in the back of the van, i have my own tea/coffee making facilitys great on frosty mornings.

I have a split charge system on the van, I took a lead from the backup battery thats constantly on charge do not take it from the main pump battery it will draw a lot of energy and flatten it quite quick or keep your engine running while the kettle is boiling.

probably the best way , rather than plug into the wiring loom, via cigarette lighter.
