I dont want this work, but I have a question.

How do you get qualified in this type of work...?

What do you need?

Advice very welcome.. as I am intersted in adding it as we have had about 5 calls about this in 1 - 2 years.

I was wondering about this with maybe landing a club cleaning contract, as its in city thought there was a possibility of discarded hypodermics, and staff surely couldn't touch them, i wouldnt want them doing it as too risky, but somebody has to i suppose, or else i would be  :o

Hi

You never pick up needles with your hands, use only mechanical means.

Oh, and never recap them either.

Hi,

Anybody can pick them up as they have to removed straight away,it is the disposal of them that has to be done right.
You can buy propper stab proof gloves and litter pickers

Hi

yes you can buy turtle skin gloves at  around £165 a pair, but you should really only pick up needles with tongs to be on the safe side.

Some companies do sell cheaper gloves, I have seen anti syringe gloves for about £116.
