also, how do you get broken pieces of tiles out of gutter?  the vac wont suck them will it?

and does the vacuum get dead heavy to lift when its full of sludge?  where do you dump it? at custys place or take home?

So many questions: who can fix the eatern trading vacuum? I don't know i haven't got one. Tiles will stick to the nozzle so just switch the power off and dump them wherever you want. I have a similar set up to Poleman in that i use carbon pole sections. I have an almost identical system to MrH.

how heavy are they wet n dry vacs empty and when they are full of sludge?  do you just drain the water out down a grid?  do you need a ramp to get it into van when full?

I tip the water off down a roadside drain then bag the rest up. Customer wanted to keep the sack full of rubbish yesterday for his compost heap.

If you haven;t modified it then i assume you can claim on the warranty. Only thing likely to go is the motors and you can buy them direct or buy similar from other vacuum suppliers.

No im not sure, thats why it should really be checking with your local authority or environment agency. For starters you need a waste carrier licence, as you will have residual waste with you even if you dont take any of it. unless you clean it up that well at the property you had just cleaned, but i cant see that happening.

It may not be such a big deal to you and me, but to those enviro types it could be a ticket to a fine.. however likely you are to actually getting one ive no idea.

All im saying is check first.

i always carry waste sludge from block paving. usually loose it into custys borders or take to the tip, these environment geeks are getting stupid,

sludge from block paving is just sand, weeds and moss which is all natural stuff so how can they do you for carrying that? its just crazy.

So are you making the loop on the top of the pole with support brackets and do you know what extension lead you will need? The poles are very light and holding them is not a problem. I would think you need three sections for two storey residential work and a spike of some sorts.

doyou have another pole for the spike?  i might not get a camera i might just use the wing mirror someone else was using, he said it works a treat/
