Help needed to identify - Pictures attached
« on: November 23, 2008, 08:14:24 am »
I did a clean on Friday and was asked to clean this rug, I said I would take it away and clean it (as I wasn't sure if it could be wet cleaned)

Has anyone cleaned anything similar before?

It's very thin, looks more like a blanket than a traditional rug!!

Looks Indian or Pakistan to me[ a picture of back would help]

Any way aboves not important[ do your dye bleed tests and go from there.

Looks like 100% wool, not much chance of any colour run, will be a fair bit heavier when wet - not the easiest to clean but it should look fine when dry.

Hi Guys

Kev is almost certainly right about wool, should be a straightforward clean.

Cheers
