Nursing Homes
« on: November 19, 2008, 07:44:45 pm »
I need to quote for a nursing home job.  I believe it is for a lounge / downstairs area. Should I be using domestic or commercial rates for this.  I charge £3 per sq metre for domestic and £2 (ish) for commercial.  This will be my first nursing home job (if I get it!) any advice would be gratefully received.
thanks, Pete.

Try and work out how long it would take you if it was a domestic and work your prices from there thats how i do my pricing :

Ask what time you will start as are the residents still in the downstairs lounge etc ???

Oh also the smell is not too clever either ::)

You will prob have to take your gear in  for security reasons :)

I'm with Clinton on this one. Also dont forget to allow for odour neutraliser and extra time for the work! You will need to watch whre cables trail etc

Craftex do a fantastic urine neut, It smells lovely at first but after a while you just associate it with the smell of pi$$

I spray it as a deodouriser after doing nursing homes etc and brush it in.
