George software
« on: November 09, 2008, 01:09:09 pm »
Can anyone tell if George is a useful piece of software? When you have fed your list of customers in, George seems to give them all future clean dates. What happens if say the ten houses you rae due to clean on the tenth dont get cleaned because of heavy rain, does George automatically shuffle all the dates along?

At the moment I just print out a list of houses for each cycle. I write the date in the box next to the house when I have cleaned it. When the customer pays I simply highlight the date with a pink or green highlighting pen for cash or cheque.

Is George worth swapping for?

Advice appreciated

I use george and find it as many others will say a great help all i could really suggest to you is download it and try it for yourself it comes with a free 60 day trial . George doesn't actually re-shuffle dates if cleans are over due it will basically highlight the jobs overdue and then when you get round to cleaning them it will automatically move them to the next due date. Best thing to do is download it and have a mess around with it but i can say it will save you lots of time and makes things alot easier in organising your rounds and for £50 is a bargain or you can also put a search on the forum for old topics on george this may help answer any more questions you have.
