Well clearly he could not afford a pole of the lengthrequired! ::) Only a 30 footer so not over expensive.. Cowbow... in my opinion as I thought WFP was so no ladders were needed to be used.

But made me chuckle ;D

Hi Chris,

Yes see what you mean having looked at your thread. But I just had a look, so far the people commenting on this post have not commented on the post you started before..

I still stand by what I sid in my previous post on this topic.

Lets see if anyone from your thread says any different in this post.

Dear me. Chill out. ::)

Yes he's doing it the hard way.
But he's hardly "giving us a bad name". ::)
Why would the public be so horrified, when they've seen people up ladders for hundreds of years?

Ok i agree that it is dangerous , over stretching , and the angle of the ladder on a lawn !
But i myself use an 18 foot from 1ST story soffits to get to velux windows , madness i hear you say , but i use the pole one handed , the other one on the ladder of course , and the ladder is footed against decking posts , like on bannisters , not the spindles !
I do 5 houses like this , the thing is , i can reach them with my 45 foot facelift , but choose not to because its a pain in the arse at that angle !

I've got some which I mentioned when I got my new pole the other week.
20+ft almost horizontal above garages with sloping roofs.

To be honest it would be easier to put a small ladder up the side of the garage and use a 12ft pole from there.

If I carried a ladder I'd do it.
