Sorry again Russell but posting wrong info is no use to anyone. Delamination in a tufted carpet CANNOT be rectified by stretching. In fact stretching can make it make it worse depending on where it has delaminated. When a carpet is tensioned by a carpet fitter using a knee kicker, it is the secondary backing that is being tightened up. When a carpet delaminates, the primary backing separates from the secondary backing, so no amount of attempted stretching is going to alter that bubble of primary backing. Only a bubble in the secondary backing can sometimes (not always) be improved by attempted stretching, but that is not delamination.

I dont mind being accused of that, especially by anyone that thinks they know it all but obviously dont. Like most people on these boards, we dont know it all, and keep stum when we dont know the answer to something. I think its wrong for someone to state in a positive manner, mis information, that could lead to a lesser experieced CC taking on board, as true.

Seemed like a genuine bloke - posted a lot of replies in a relatively short space of time and seemed to be a valuable member of the forum.

Then suddenly got a bit tetchy when myself and Dave tried to correct him on a couple of posts and now he doesn't seem to be a member anymore - I don't know where the link to Paul Moss has come from.
