I updated this morning after following all the instructions on the website and haven't had any problems at all everything is as it should be, I did have to use the palm fix though.
In general I think the upgrades are going to be quite handy.

It's not a nightmare - it just needs a little bit of attention to get the debts right - but it will be worth it in the long run. There's a fix program here to make it easier: www.plsanders.co.uk/Fix369X1.exe

Just scan through your old debt list and punch in the balances if they are different.

Sorry for the short term pain but there are a number of important new features in the pipeline and they need this new structure.

Updated : Not sure if I should have at the mo. Got lots of odd things like customer owes 50p. They used to be £5, put it up to £5.50 8 months ago. Think I've got it sorted, but I've had to write off some stuff. Good job I use excel for my accounts (don't read this bit Paul  )

i UPDATED no problem at all, also updated the internet back up, lost it all once never again.

all sorted now but i suggest if you have been using george for years that you email for for the fix program before you update just in case you have problems.

i updated and at first was unimpressed with the  appearence of old debts, and pre payments appearing, however since running the fix program ,and sorting through prepayments,i can now see that there is a lot of work that has gone into it , for me the best thing is, now pocket george handles pre payments better, the payment part  of it is great,as now you have multiple payment methods, and it marks of any debts in one go ( you had to go to debts page to mark of before)i can also now give a ref. no . so well done paul.

Updated on Sunday and was originally disappointed with the errors in the debts and payments. But now that it is all fixed with the fix program, I am happy with the update.

after this fix has done its job do you still have all of your customers history? 

because I lost all the history and if I print a statement all I get is a msg saying no transactions
