For now no, it is not a franchise unless you want to talk business with me in regards to this, I do not know what the future holds atr at the mo in design marketing and builkding window washers round in house and out house I have quite a lot on my plate to be honest, the people on the site get all the work in the area they pay £49 a year for, I would charge what yellow pages do for a link but I want repeat business so is in my interest to make it work for the areas that I cover and not just screw people for all is possible, I prefer to build a solid business and help people in turn this helps me.

So for their £49.00 a year what do they get?

A listing in your window-cleaners directory?

it is not a directory m8, you get a page on my site, seo'd linked to yours if you have one, my ranking in google is quite good , have a look see for yourself, is in my interest to make you money from it, I am not interested in the amount of people I get on my site, I want quality insured people that do a good job, if you are not this then you will not go on window washers. What you get is your area simple (example Cambridge) no other can have it (one area per window cleaner) a directory lists loads I am not interested in numbers more giveing a service to people that want a window cleaner, I guess this is why my site works well.

Ian

p.s this post is not a sales pitch, you either trust what I say or dont, I am not a pushy sales man. Speak to me and you will know this.

Matt, what you get is exactly as Ian says.
We have been with him for about 6 months, and we feature highly (first page) on search engines for all areas we cover.
For example, on google put in 'window cleaners Priory Vale'...... we are top! really helps to bring in work.
On top of that Ian's website also features high in our area, so that also helps to bring in work. He also contacts us if something comes up in our area.
You get a lot for your money thats for sure... ;)

Matt.  I'm not on commission :)
I've had a page on Ian's site for nearly a year.
The results have not been spectacular but there has been a very slow trickle of enquiries from it.
For my £49 I have gained work that is currently worth a turnover value of £576 p.a.  So yes, it has been worth doing - especially when you consider that these jobs are (hopefully) ongoing, year-on-year work.
Unfortuntely (of course this is no fault of Ian's), there is a window cleaning company in that area also known as Windowwashers and it does sound like they are a bit unreliable.  Therefore, I occasionally get phone calls from their customers to chase them up.  I have tried to turn these calls into new accounts (well they are unreliable aren't they?  :)  ) but so far without success.

Thanks Ian, guys, I was more curious than anything else, your site is like the tardis Ian, so much in there (is that a good thing or a bad thing?)

My site seems to come up well when you put in search terms that are relevant (basingstoke window cleaner...top in google business, 5th on the general list, commercial window cleaner basingstoke...top, gutter cleaner basingstoke...top) but I'll give it some consideration no doubt.

Thanks.

Matt
