Hmm not sure, maybe its a north pole spell which usually moves over after a day or two. Its when it starts coming from Moscow as an anti cyclone thing ! you have to watch out for, it can stick over us for 6 weeks and freeze the pipes in the ground.  :'( :'(

Cold first thing, but then turned into a gorgeous day here. I could have worn my shorts again! ;D

Hope it doesn't stay with you for too long.

Yep a bit nippy today and fingers are still numb!!

Should have the Leather/Kevlar gloves tomorrow so hope they do the trick.

Clear skies outside at the mo and can feel the frost in the air already. Everything wrapped up and covered in the van ready for morning. Hopefully!!

The weather now is better than we had in August when it never seemed to stop raining or in June last year when we had non-stop preciptiation and floods everywhere.

Cold and dry is better than warm and wet.

But only where window cleaning is involved.

 ;)

Personally, I like this time of year; it's just the short Winter day-light hours that annoy me.

First frost of the winter in sheffield this morning. No problems with my backpack and water so alls good. It was nice this morning but got freezing again after 3. I do prefer cold and dry to warm and wet. When its frosty in the morning you can normally guarentee a good dry day.

Rain from 11am, Hail from 3pm, (near Dartmoor today), soaked, and longing for a decent cold, dry day this week, hopefully tomorrow.
