freezing! anything near to it.. so anything less than 3 you may find problems.. there was a thread already on this lately and advising of some issues caused by cold weather

Cheers Chris read the thread but temp forecast -2 tonight so wanted to know if i needed to do more than lag it for tonight.
Can't put electric heater in as no drive , parafin not sure as some posts put me off , ISO appears to need 20% mix [ 800ltrs tank !!!!!!!] and really i'd want it in RO and pipes rather than tank , can bring RO in overnight but pain .

well you dont want it freezing up, you can stuff the housings, the membranes etc.. Do what it takes to keep it warm, sleep with it if you have too, it would be expensive delay if you dont!

As some have said, get some high tog duvets., or perhaps fill some containers with hot water and put them in the van over night.

Thing to watch out for is the waste outlet freezing up, because mine feeds into the drainpipe outside.

Good point, I put my hose right next to the house, so that will hopefully keep it just above freezing temp. Running water shouldn't freeze unless it's really very cold though I think.

mine stays outside, this week i've got it wrapped in an army blanket under the tank stand, think i'll get some pipe lagging for the inlet and outlets though.
