Kevin R on here has one.
I have just had one fitted by waterfed pole systems in Grantham. They also do a bolt on to an existing system.

Yes,you need to connect it to the fuel tank and all the bits are provided in the kit,you also need to fit a mini fuel pump under the van also provided in the kit.I was about to buy 1 but in the end decieded against deisel as it works out a lot more expensive over gas and more hassle to fit,if i like the L5 gas heater i`ll upgrade to the heater Discount has and then the only other expense involved will be having a proper flu fitted.

Diesel. Its a webasto system, run off your van tank or seperate tank.

He will source you a marine tank to run it off of but it`s not designed for that,i wouldn`t spend nearly 3k for an add on heater when you look into it more you can do it with gas for a fraction of the price.

You don't have to have the one i've got NWH, which is a rinnai, a morco would do the job too. You said you liked the idea that the L5's gas turns on when you need it and off when you don't. In fact they all do this, and that is why it is called an on demand system.

The brand leader puts another lpg fuel tank where your spare tyre is and feeds from there. Many garages sell it now at the pump.I have tried to enquire about the cost of this but can't seem to get an answer- mostly they want to do a complete conversion-.

I believe rough running costs per day are £2 lpg and £5-£7 diesel. You can use red, but who wants a thousand litre tank of that in the back garden.

Varitech do two hot water systems - both are add ons.

The single operator system is  £2300 plus vat and the double system is 2600p plus vat. This includes full fitting and plumbing in to your existing system and diesel fuel tank.

Tell them Kev R sent you for a discount  ;D

Call mike on 01626 830 830.

Excellent bits of kit- fully temperature adjustable and with frost protection for your existing system

These systems have Webasto components and are guaranteed for two years.

That is about right and i don`t want  to have to buy another tank full of deisel for the van every other week, that`s what it would amount to.

The single operator system burns 520 mls of diesel an hour. However once it reaches temperature (when you stop) it stops heating until the temp drops again. I have been monitoring my costs for the last 2 months and I estimate it costs about £3.50 a day to run on an average commercial day.

One of the main benefits is it saves time. On one job we do I used to have three chaps using cold wfp and we would complete the job in six hours, now we can do the job with two blokes in the same time. So it may cost a bit in fuel but it saves in labour.

First cleans and quarterly commercial cleans especially.
