Why have you loaned them the pole for free then?

take your pole and offer to deliver it to them the next time they need it, and explain that you will place the pole in their darkest place where the sun never shines

I suppose for a 60ft pole it would need to be about £50 + £300 damage deposit.

The next time they ask to borrow the pole, say, "Sorry, but I've broken it".  They'll understand.  Ask for the money you're owed; because you need it to buy a new one.

Then wait a week-or-two, and go and canvass the job that they used to use it on (I bet you know what property it is and how much they charge).

When you want to change something you will need to remove the h ttp:// thats infront of your web address before saving
