cleaning poolside glass ?
« on: October 23, 2008, 08:40:53 pm »
Did a swimming pool internal glass last night wfp, went back today to check finish and found glass directly above pool and hot tub type of thing looked like it hadn't been touched ! i'd gone over that section twice with plenty of rinsing and other glass around looked ok.
It's part of a big contract so i want it looking good.
Customer definately doesn't want me using ladders, and 50% of glass effected directly above pool [ about 30ft up at highpoint ]
Could the chlorine fumes have something to do with it ? would have a prob with a cleaning solution because of it going into pool. Glass RSL BS6206 B if that helps
ANY IDEAS ?????

dont look who's to blame, look how to fix it. anon

I also do windows above pools but dont get that problem.Dont think its chlorine causeing problem.

Are they double glazed ,if so could be between glass.

Or if ally framed windows the powder coating can run like a milky haze if old or in extreme conditions.
