you have to do them trad, or with a cleaning solution and a lint free cloth.

I prefer trad way.

Learn the methods and use all the tools of the trade.

I charge the same as i do them outside, if its at the same time. If the sills have not been emptied of all there photo frames etc, then i charge an extra 20-30%. Bear in mind that i advise any breakages caused by me, are not covered! (its a good way of getting them to remove items from the sills).

Some may charge 1.5 or even 2 times as much to do the insides.

Yes, but you can end up smearing it really bad. Just like mirrors at home. However since the sun has gone until the spring its likely you wouldn't notice it - most window cleaning mistakes are easily seen when the sun is shining.

I prefer to do it trad. make sure the applicator when doing it trad is not dripping on the floor but just wet enough to apply to the window.

You best bet would be to find a guide on how to squeegee properly and practise at home! other than that the bristish window cleaning academy, window cleaning course is worth a shot , however it is rather expensive.

It takes a long time to really master the technique of using a squeegee but its far better than trying to buff them and not profitable as it will take you too long. Invest in a good squeegee from unger and start practising on your own. There are loads of vids on Utube you could look at to give you an idea. But definately worth while. You could double your average customer spend but offering the service. I am trad and find the inside allot easier than outside because you dont have to set up ladders etc, but watch out for ornaments blinds etc. Invest in shoe covers to protect there carpets, I think Straus Dirrect does good shoe covers.
