thats a issue the RT z-flex doesnt really suffer with, mine has very little flex

Hang on, I was told the Zensorflex will too bendy for that job, and I'll need the Gangster!
So i've been given the wrong advice and spent more money i didn't have. :(

Look!

20ft at 45 degrees is when you can damage yourself. The Zensor will be really bendy like that and you will have to stretch. You also need the Gangsta then. Now its not as stiff as the SL but it will be ok

.I would guess that the wall thickness is thicker than the SL but not as much c/f so not as stiff.

Rog,

Since you've got a Gangster and I've got the Zensor, why don't we get together and have a 'play' with them.

Then we can work out what we need; I want a longer pole before the end of this month.

I know that sounds really gay, but I'm not, I promise.

tosh the end bit of the gangsta will fit over the end section ( the case bit ) of the Z-flex, dont forget my case bit it glued to the next section, then i use2 sections of the gangsta, then my z-flex on top of that, thus a very close to 10 m pole

Matt,

What do you mean by the 'case bit'?  Do you mean the thick end of the pole where the trademark name is?

So basically what you're saying is that I use the two-bottom-thick ends of the Gangsta; then your Zensorflex on top of that?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PS.  I did a first clean of a commercial property this morning; it had about 40 large(ish) panes of 1st floor glass to clean and they were filthy; probably hadn't been done in years.  It would've normally taken three-sections of my heavy aliminunium pole at full reach and some graft, but the DIY Zensor was a dream (in comparison) to work with.

I'm finding the light DIY pole is quicker too; less water used; and I'm not as tired at the end of each day; oh, and I can't wait to get out to work too.

nope

the gangsta NAME bit into the Z-fex name bit ( which is glued to the next Zflex bit ) then the next 2 gangsta bits, then onto the z-flex pole as it is

so you only use 3 bits of the gangsta the way i do it

Rog,

Stick a link up from where you bought it; I'm going to get one.

Cheers.
Tosh, before you do, have a go with mine.

It's way bendier than the SL2.
Not what I was led to believe.

I got the work done that I needed it for, but it wasn't easy.
You're waiting for it to snap.

Seems ok when working straight up, but not at an angle.

Rog, how did you get on with your DIY pole today?

Also, when you say it works 'straight up, but not at an angle, I've not had any problems with mine at all; what is it that you're trying to do with yours?  What angle; how far?

I've just had my lightweight brush and angle arrive; and I can't wait for Monday to get back out working and try it out.

But, as Wor Lass says, I'm a 'sad bloke'.

I think I'll go and clean my own windows now, but firstly I just need to go and put my (train-spotting) jacket on first!

if you use a Vikan ( or similar brush with the brush connecton set at a angle ), the angle the brush is set at is just the right angle, so you only need a unger brush adaptor

Only needed it on one window today, and attached it to the top two Superlight sections.
No problems.

The bendy angle yesterday?
About 20ft at 45 degrees.
If you can picture them, it's the houses on the left as you turn into The Danes.
Sloping drives and windows above the garages. :o
