wfp and water metre
« on: October 14, 2008, 03:37:11 pm »
wondering if anyone here runs a wfp system and has a water metre at home... ie is it exspensive to run etc.
I don't have a water metre at home myself but there has been a lot of press about getting them fitted with some suggestion they may be compulsery over the next few years.
Anyone got any comments on that?

im paying 40 pound a month with out a meter, but if had a meter couild be as little as 15 a month,.but im filling up every day 250lts,so at the moment im happy without meter,if i had a meter i think the 15 a month would sky rocket, will be interested to find out though.dont know about being compulsery, but if you get one installed and sell your house it has to stay buyer carnt switch back

as some of you know i have a rainwater harvesting  system ,

which with the help of some of the forum members <thanks by the way>

i have set up, i just use my ro as a back up now

it will go some way to keep my water bills down  :)

also my ro has the upgrade membrane , which gives 40 to 50 % less waste
