There strong and a very good tool to have essential i would say for anything over 25ft,as for giving it to staff to use i wouldn`t unless you trust them.

Watch this to start with:

Read the manual carefully through and then practise on a few properties at a lower level before starting in earnest. If you start out treating it with care and attention you will soon get completely used to it.

I have one.  A bit of advice I would offer is when you are on larger jobs where you need to be a bit vigorous with it,  at some point, separate the pole, re-apply some PTFE spray, and allow it to dry while you are doing some lower work with another pole.  That should ensure that no sections stick together.  Also, if any do stick and are hard to separate, make sure that you turn the sections clockwise (with the weave).  It shouldn't be necessary so long as you are aware that sticking can occasionally occur on larger jobs.
Another suggestion is to get in touch with Gardiner's and add some of their Y pieces to the order (the bits where the main pole hose branches to the jets).  I have found these to be a weak link in the chain (but maybe I'm just slobhanded).
I don't want you to get the wrong idea about these poles.  They are absolutely excellent IMO if you have the right sort of work for them.

That`s a good point sticking only normally occurs with the pole when using it at great height, the weight of top sections pushing down on the lower ones.I spray mine once a month although find sometimes it`s not always needed.

1st post, so hi to everyone!

Are you referring to the Gardiner modular c/f kit?

Ifso, I have had mine about 6 months and love it.  A revelation after using large fiberglass poles.  re advice; be sure to use the PTFE spray regularly, as the sections can be difficult to separate. Watch for it catching the wind - it's so light, also due to low weight brush can 'bounce' over the window surface esp on high windows.

I also agree with other posts above: when I'm with my labourer HE gets the ropey old f/g pole and I take the gardiner!

Another thing I have done is to use different coloured sticky tapes near the base end.  The section numbers printed on the pole are a bit small for me without my reading specs and the numbers get worn anyway.  So I've gone with snooker ball colours.
Section 1 is obvious as it has the brush permanently attached so not needed on there.  After that I've gone with yellow tape for section 2, green for 3 etc.  I didn't have any pink tape so orange did OK.  After that, the sections all become the same size anyway so again, no need to tape.
I know it sounds silly but it makes it a lot easier for me.

We have got them in stock and they are still going through the post-production process.  They will be back on the web next week.

What is post-production process???

It's opening up all the boxes, gazing admiringly at them and thinking how wonderful they are..................  :D

When the poles come to us they are a collection of carbon fibre tubes.  They have to be sorted into the correct package size for each client, some are given top secret treatment, all of them have protecta rings fitted.  Each pole needs hose, connector, gooseneck, brush, velcro straps, PTFE spray, manual adding to the pack.  Only then is the pole ready to send out.  This doesn't take that long for each package but when you're dealing with large quantities of them it does take a long time.  We could put them on the website tonight but then tell each client that they will have to wait 'x' amount of days before they will receive them.  We'd rather be ahead of the game before going 'live'.

Ensure the male pole ends are dry before inserting an additional section to the pole, otherwise you may push the sections too tight together, then when the wet pole dries, it becomes stuck together by the vacuumed seal.
