i think that some w/cleaners use wfp mainley but also on occasions use ladders for upstairs would that not be breaking h & s regs (unless when wfp not suitable i.e builders cleans or on flat roofs etc.)
I seen a guy in my area with the thermo pure logo etc on his van and they were doing resident of a ladder. I think this would break H+S as a safer option is available
Quotei think that some w/cleaners use wfp mainley but also on occasions use ladders for upstairs would that not be breaking h & s regs (unless when wfp not suitable i.e builders cleans or on flat roofs etc.)A lot of builders cleans you can't use ladders and have to be done with WFP.Most sites we work at no longer allow ladders
Paul what sites do not allow you to use ladders as I work on a fair few now and all are ok on ladderwork for builders cleans
not again .h s quote . ladders ar not banned .as long as common sense is used .. they say ( h .s .)single tasks that take longer than 30mins in one position ar not suitable for ladders .therefor consider another alternative .wfp etc .so if u can clean a top window in under 30mins. u r. ok end of .
