Hi, i've been window cleaning now for about 3 years and quite happy with the work that i do, mainly domestic.
Because of the wet summer we have had i have decided to push other things, with wet days in mind. I will be pushing gutter cleaning and fascias etc.
One thing i have been asked from time to time is pressure washing, drives, etc.
I have an industrial type of pressure washer, which has been stored now for around 7 or 8 years. My brother bought it many years ago, with the intention of starting a wheelie bin wash, which never came into fruitition.
At present it needs a new valve, as it is working only intermittently. I intend to get it working with a view to doing some drives next year, especially on rainy days.
What i need to know is pricing, etc. I am assuming it is per sq meter, but haven't a clue what the average price structure is.
I got talking yesterday to an elderly man who does it basically for a bit of pocket money. He was telling me there is a difference time wise, between brick drives and slabbed ones, so i again assume this would reflect in price?
I have also heard about brick acid being used but this guy was saying there is really no need for this.
I would appreciate any advice regarding price and also any problems that i may encounter if i did this.
Thanks in advance.
Paul
