hi everyone do you notice that there are ,more and more window cleaners on the road now i notice someone new nearly everyday . lookslike that everyredundant person is becoming a wc

yes you never saw many them years ago,now there everywere,i know a few who started but they didnt last long,as soon as winter hits ther gone,i sold a round,guy done it twice,never saw him again,i got all the work back how mad is that.

I wouldn't worry, I'm in my seventh year of window cleaning and I can only think of one full-time window cleaner who started after me and has stuck it for more than three years (Terry P for the local guys; and since he's paid off his mortgage, he's planning on winding his round down); and given the abysmal Summer we've had; I've never seen it rain so much; coupled with the Credit Crunch, I think new starters won't be finding it that easy.

haha, i know what you mean, i see wc's everywhere at minute but they all look like like walked out of an AA meeting, and i dont mean the car rescue firm....

the other day,four fellas all got out of a car,all took a ladder each,all done same house,looked at me and laughed,i was using wfp,they put ladders on and away they went,they only done the one house

I'm a minority cleaner where I live (other window cleaners have most of the work), but one keeps selling his work to different people, so we now have at least three more teams on  to top of what was already about four of us.(they all seem to do a good job but from custies comments they are sick of new faces every month)

this is my 3rd year and i have never seen so many new guys 2 new ones were doing one i dumped last month and my custy commented that i have competition on the street i said why not ask them to quote for you then? not b***dy likely they wont be about come november like you will .... there for not competition
